I've seen Star Wars movies. Those Stormtroopers can't shoot for shit. I'm not that worried.

True, so think how embarrassing it would be to get killed by a stormtrooper. You'd be the one in ten thousand that actually took a laser bolt to the face.

Why do the evil overlords always go for Stormtroopers anyway?. They really need to branch out, and pay for some target practice sessions.

I had a look at a few youtube videos on Global Agenda. It looked like there were 4 classes: The shooty guy, the shooty guy who can heal a bit, the shooty guy who can have some minions and the cunt who has stealth, a jetpack and a sniper rifle.

There looked to be some interesting locations. Including: The tunnel, the warehouse, the other kind of tunnel, the ramp bit with some bridges. Innovative.

Looks like it would be fun for about 5 minutes.

Downloaded the trial and played the intro and some pve group missions last night.

It reminds me of an online version of a (even at the time) very average manga-inspired game I played about 10 years ago called 'Oni' without the martial arts combos, even less thought on environment design, (disgracefully) it has about the same complexity of graphics even though it's ten years on and exactly the same level of gormless repetition with half of the style. Someone please tell me there's a developer out there trying to be even slightly innovative with a decent upcoming online sci-fi game or I may have to resort to real life for kicks soon and we all know that's not acceptable.

pve is aweful in GA, play a few pvp rounds instead.

downloaded it. giving it a whirl tonight. looks liek great fun. from what ive seen of my friend playing, its like a cross bewteen PS and WoW. i shall see.

Theres been a large update in the last 2 weeks updating the game. May be better than what it was

Played it. Loved it. Its like WoW but Sci-fi. That means guns. Lots of guns. The pvp aspect is being revamped tomorrow or in the next 3 days in a patch. Questing is a little on the dull side, but nowhere near as bad as WoW. leveling is quite quick - did lvl 12 in 3 hours and theres only 50 levels. Game is currently £18 and its free to play. 3 expansions planned. Plays like PS, so im sold.
More details can be given in requested, but at work atm so cant type much.
